Romance Novels

I like romance novels very much. Although most of them are erotic, it’s just the authors’ way to make their novels more interesting and amazing and to express their characters’ feelings more clearly to the readers. I’ve read many romance novels showing undying passion and forever love. This is why I like romance novels. These novels are usually idealistic; therefore, giving me a place to have my imaginations and wonders roam around freely. Well, some people may find these romantic stories boring and common, but I find them enchanting and delightful, for it is hard to have these events happen in one’s real life. Every time when I feel stressed or tired, I’d engage myself in reading romance novels so as to relieve my senses and relax my nerves. Believe me, it is really an effective way of relaxing and a nice way for spending your leisure time. From all the novels I’ve read recently, the authors I like most are Jude Deveraux and Judith McNaught. They’re novels are nice and pleasant to read, not too erotic or dull either. Jude Deveraux’s novels are humorous, romantic, exotic, and enticing. Her novels usually start with a “boy meets girl” style, then a “lived happily ever after ending”. Almost all of her novels show feminism. The woman in her story would most likely be someone who is brave, intelligent, independent, and strong enough to live her life joyously even without men. Another thing is the woman and man in Jude Deveraux’s novels were always beautiful, handsome, and charming with shocking and mysterious personalities that would urge the reader to finish the story immediately so they can find out what happened in the end. That happens to me all the time too. Wild Orchids, Always, and A Gift of Love are some titles I like most from Jude Deveraux.Judith McNaught’s novels are much more erotic than Jude Deveraux’s. Her novels are cheerful, amazing, and mysterious. Every male character in her novel has somewhat a weird personality and a sad past that would later be remedied and be influenced by the girl he meets. Her novels are so fine and so unique that I often find them irresistible. Excluding the erotic parts, I can say that her novels are perfect. I had never read something so astonishing and intriguing stories in the past few years of my life. The events in the novels are ones women and men nowadays would want to happen in their real lives----sweetness, tenderness, warmth, and security. Try reading Tender Triumph and Something Wonderful and you’ll know what I mean.Reading romance novels is something truly nice. That’s all I can say for now, for these novels of the two all-time-bestseller authors, Jude Deveraux and Judith McNaught, beggar my descriptions. It’s all up to you to figure out the mystery and secrets hidden beneath these wonderful and magnificent novels of the century. You will surely be attracted with them. ^_^
