What is love?

What is love? Some say that it’s blind and others say that it’s indefinable. As for me, I don’t know because I had never experienced that kind of feeling :P

Just a month ago, I started playing Ragnarok Online again, but in the private server this time. I was recruited to a Spanish speaking guild and I was like… “Wow! How am I suppose to know what’s going on if I don’t understand Spanish?” Good thing there was this guy in the guild who speaks fluent English, so he became my translator >.< LOL

Eventually, we became friends. He's a Venezuelan but living in India now. He told me about his life there and stuff. He said that there was this Indian girl that he loved so much. They'd gone out a few times and everything seems to be pleasant. But one day, this girl's family is moving to place far from where my friend lives. He was upset because he wouldn't be able to see her frequently. One time, he tried to ask her out on that weekend and the girl was to tell him her decision that night, but after long hours of waiting, she didn't call. My friend tried to call him a couple of times, but the phone was under repair. He was both happy and sad at the same time. He was happy because the phone was the reason why she hadn't called him and sad because they couldn't go out on that weekend. He'd waited for 2 long weeks for the date, but what happened disappointed him a lot. I said "Don't worry, you'll get to see her soon." and he said "Yeah…I guess." Then, I keep thinking...is this really love? Is this what I see all the time in romance novels and movies?

Well, my suspicions were quickly solved for this friend of mine came online today in msn and told me that he'd went to her house today. I said "Ohh nice..you finally get to see her after 3 long weeks of anticipation." "How did you get her address?" and he said, "Her mom took me to their house today after church." WOW! I mean that's a very good sign LOL :D Mothers are supposed to be like "Don't get near my daughter." but today, she took him to her house. Does that implement something? Well...I don’t know :P He said "I felt like I'm in heaven." "God! She looked so beautiful today." "I'm gonna tell her that I love her the next time we meet." Then, a question came to my mind and I asked him "Do you plan to marry her by any chance?" and to my surprise, he said "O_O I SURE WOULD!!!!" "I DO!!!!! XD" I said "But isn't it too young for you to marry?" then he said "I could wait...I've waited for a long time, no harm done." Then I said "What if she said no?" he said "I doubt she will...she obviously felt something for me because she was shocked when she saw me in her house." I thought for a while, maybe this girl do really loved him.

It’s really good to know that they felt love for each other. As a friend, I felt happy for him.
Like I said, what is love? Can someone tell me? LOL @_@

Good luck, my friend!^_^ Tell her what you gotta say!

Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud,

doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;

doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;

bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.

-1 Corinthians 13:4-8
