Life is full of mysteries...
One never knows what will happen in the next second. Life is very unpredictable. Perhaps that's what people call destiny...no one has control over it, all we can do is to value every second of our lives. Everyone's life is a mystery...we may undergo the same stages of life, but not with the same experiances and the same people involved.
I can't believe that I'm already in university for the third week in just a blink of an eye. I never thought that college life would be so harsh. I'd thought that it would be tough, but not like what's happenning to me now lol :D I'm expecting a lot of assignments, but not as much as 4-5 research papers for every weekend. Over the last 2 weeks, I almost collapsed because of these endless assignments. Gladly, this week, I'd have some more time to sit back and chat or watch some tv.
My college professors teach well, but the problem is, they don't explain the lesson very clearly. They prefer to group us together and leave it to us to do research about a certain subject and report it in front of the class. Doing researches and reports are okay with me, but sometimes I get grouped with lazy groupmates who doesn't help but sit and talk about nonsense. Often times, I'd have to tolerate such ignorant behavior and concentrate on doing the research.
There was one professor who likes asking us questions we'd never encountered, then later, contradicting our answers and sometimes embarrassing us. That doesn't sound so good, I didn't expect college professors to be like that...>.<>
The new college environment is quite unusual. It is very much different from the small community of students with almost the same culture and race in a high school, instead, college is like a salad with all kinds of vegetables and fruits. People in the college came from different countries, different cultures, and different traditions and practices. Often times, you'd find your opinion towards something very different from someone who is of a different race from you. Many people in college smoke, drink, and party a lot( Something that is very very different from high school, where everyone is as pure and clean as an unused bond paper.) This is because college gives more freedom to the students. As long as one does not violate the rules, one can do whatever one desires.
College forces students to be active in organizations therefore, public relations is very important. You have to know how to communicate with others in order to make people know you. Public relations is one of my problems, sometimes when I get nervous, I'd forget what I have to say >.<>
Besides from meeting weird professors and seeing and feeling the first time for myself the college life, I had met some new friends too. I've talked to all my new classmates and got to know more about their personality. There was a group of them who would always invite me to go to the karaoke with them and another group who would always invite me to go shopping or watch movies in the mall. Every time, I had no choice but to decline their invitations because I find myself hard to blend with them. I have interests on other things that they don't find interesting. I have more responsibility than they do for I'd always think of duties before pleasures. People might say that I'm a nerd, but I'm not, I'm just doing the things I have to do and if I'm done, then I'd let myself relax. College, unlike high school, is very fast-paced, so I'm trying my best to manage my time properly and efficiently. I'm aiming to do as much as I can in the shortest period of time :P
Once, I felt so stressed that I almost felt like crying. I know its funny to cry over such things, but crying, for me, is a means of releasing my stress. I'd feel better after crying and would be able to concentrate again on the things I'm doing. When college had just started, I had sought for my friends' help several times for my assignments, asking them their answers, reactions, and opinions toward certain problems. For those who helped me, thanks a lot! You're the best! :D Anything you need from me, just feel free to tell me and I'll be there for you. ^_^
One of my friends had started on her daily routine of boyhunting LOL I laughed to hard when I first heard her say. I can't believe she would still have the time for boys with the college days being to tough. My another friends' advice to her was "books before boys" and I found it really convincing :P But she just neglected his advice and continued on her search for the "man" of her dreams. After a few weeks, I heard the news that she had finally found the one. Now, she had a crush over the guy. X_X LOL I laughed again( I don't mean to be rude...its just so unbelievable!) I wonder if the same thing would happen to me too...but I doubt it, since I haven't seen someone who could catch my eyes yet :P
So far, I'd found some friends that share the same interest as me. They are nice and helpful, funny and sociable. ^^ Great friends! I hope to get to know more about them in the coming days :D
Alright, so much for the nonsense. Thanks for bearing with me, I know it is a very long post. I appreciate your patience and to that, I thank you again :D Please post me a comment if you don't mind. Thank you so much! ;)
P.S. Friends come and friends go, but I'm one who would always be there for you in times of need and joy.

You'll survive, I just know it...
It's good to know that you're getting independent now. And I can say your English is great now. Keep it up.
Long, but interesting post. I guess high school is still sort of like a playground in most places of the world, but when you start College/University you are suddenly faced with the realities of life, wich is indeed very competitive and stressful nowadays. Anyway, keep up your ambitious-workaholic lifestyle and i'm sure you'll be rewarded in the end with some freetime to go shopping, chatting, watching tv and maybe doing some boyhunting on you're own ;)
